How Rip It! Card Collector plays
The whole game runs on one loop — file what is new, sell what is not, spend the cash, and let the upgrades take over. The pages below are grouped by the order you meet those questions: cash first, then the upgrades that automate it, then the binder, then the cards worth chasing.
Start by turning duplicates into cash
Selling duplicates is the main income, and the Card Disposal Unit at the front of the desk does the work. How to Make Money Fast covers where the cards land, what each duplicate pays, and the upgrades that make every sale worth more. While you rip and file, the piggy bank is saving on its own — How the Piggy Bank Works explains when it pays out and which two gadgets raise its output.
Level up and spend Gadget Points
XP comes from one action: filing a card that is new to you. Each level-up pays a Gadget Point, and Gadget Points are the only currency the gear accepts. How to Level Up Fast covers the filing loop, the XP numbers printed on each card, and where Gadget Points come from. Once you have points, Which Gadget to Upgrade First ranks the whole GADGETS screen, and How the Rip Rig Works walks through the machine that takes over opening your packs.
Fill the binder
A set is complete when every slot on its binder page is filled, across 209 unique Critkin and 1,809 cards in the full game. How to Complete a Card Set explains the binder, the CritDex, and the three ways to get a card you are missing. Which Booster Pack to Buy compares the three pack types and the level 5 gate on First Edition Boosters.
Chase the special cards
The rarest cards in the collection are read straight off the card face. What Are the Rarest Cards lists the rarity tiers, the element icons and the nine secret promo cards, and How to Get Foil and Gold Cards covers the three routes to a finish.

About this site and recent updates
Rip It! Card Collector is a single-player collectathon and simulation game by Cybernetic Walrus for Steam, with a release date of October 30, 2026. You play a new collector for Team Ballistic whose job is to build up a binder of Critkin cards: rip open booster packs, boxes and cases by hand at a retro-futuristic workstation, slot the cards that tumble out into the right binder pages to complete sets, and sell the duplicates you no longer need for cash. Earnings go back into gear and card-related upgrades, so the desk slowly grows into an elaborate machine that automates more of the work.
More context
Progression is deliberately low-pressure, with no timers and nothing to rush, so the pace is entirely yours.

FAQ
What is the fastest way to make money in Rip It! Card Collector?
Sell your duplicate cards. Every card carries its own printed price, from $0.81 on the cheapest pull up to $15.28 on the most valuable card in the collection, and the Card Disposal Unit at the front of the desk converts them to cash. The PRICE INCREASE MODULE gadget is the first one worth buying, because it raises what every duplicate is worth from that point on.
