How the rip rig works in Rip It! Card Collector: it is the machine on the right side of your workstation that opens packs for you. You load boosters into its RIP CHAMBER, pull the PULL lever, and everything loaded rips in a single pass, dropping the cards out onto the playmat where you sort them.
More context
Early on you tear open packs yourself and the rig is the upgrade that replaces that step. By the end of the progression the workstation can process its card workflow automatically, with manual filing still possible at any point.

How the rip rig works: load, pull, sort
The Rip Rig stands on the right side of the workstation under the RIP RIG / TEAM BALLISTIC sign.
- Its RIP CHAMBER holds individual boosters, five slots that can be loaded at once.
- Pulling the PULL lever rips everything loaded in a single pass.
- The cards drop out onto the playmat where you sort them, and the reveal afterwards shows them as a batch rather than one at a time.
Load up to five boosters into the RIP CHAMBER
Single packs go in one slot each.
Pull the PULL lever once
One pass rips everything that was loaded.
Sort the batch on the playmat
File the new cards, dispose of the duplicates.
Reload the chamber and pull again
Repeat until the batch is cleared.

From packs to boxes to cases
Above the chamber sit a BOOSTER BOX SLOT and a BOOSTER CASE SLOT for larger containers, and RIP RIG CAPACITY is the 9-level upgrade that opens them: level 1 enables loading a box and level 2 enables loading a whole case, so the rig progresses from single packs to boxes to cases.
The rig can also open multiple packs simultaneously, and an Auto Rip Rig slot tops the rig up without you loading it by hand.

Increases pack-opening speed.
